A Styled by STEM Signature Program
STEM the Trails
Outdoor STEM education, adventure, and expedition—where every trail becomes a living laboratory.
The trail provides the place. STEM provides the questions.
Girls become field scientists—one trail at a time.
STEM the Trails is a year-round outdoor learning experience for girls. Participants study a new public trail or natural area, then hike it to observe, test, measure, document, and protect what they discover.
The journey begins close to home in St. Lucie County, advances through Martin County, and culminates in the diverse habitats of Indian River County.
