Today marked an exciting milestone for Styled by STEM as we officially kicked off our Fall 2026 outreach by participating in school orientation! It was an incredible opportunity to meet students, parents, educators, and community members while sharing our mission of creating a space where girls can discover, explore, and thrive in STEM.
From the moment the doors opened, our table stayed busy with curious students eager to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Families stopped by to ask questions about our new After-School STEM Program, which officially launches August 10, 2026, and many signed up to stay connected as we begin our first semester.
Hands-On Learning from Day One
One of the biggest highlights of the day was our LEGO Engineering Build Station. Students jumped right in, working together to design, create, and problem-solve using hundreds of LEGO pieces. It was amazing to watch their creativity come to life as they experimented with different ideas and proudly showed off their builds.
This is exactly what Styled by STEM is all about—learning by doing.
Our programs are designed to make STEM engaging, accessible, and fun while helping students develop:

- Engineering and design skills
- Confidence in solving real-world challenges
Sharing Our Vision
Visitors also had the opportunity to:

- Browse STEM-inspired books and educational resources
- See demonstrations of tools and equipment students will experience throughout the year
Every conversation reminded us why this work matters. Parents shared how excited they were to find a program focused on STEM enrichment, mentorship, and creating opportunities for girls to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, programmers, researchers, doctors, and innovators.
A Community Effort
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, participated in activities, and welcomed Styled by STEM into your school community. Seeing students light up as they explored STEM activities confirmed that there is a growing excitement for hands-on learning and discovery.
This orientation was just the beginning.
As we continue visiting schools throughout the Treasure Coast, we look forward to building partnerships with families, educators, and community organizations that believe every child deserves opportunities to explore the world through STEM.
